Emmet’s Essentials was started for a few reasons, but the one that is really important is: We wanted to use good, earth–friendly natural body products on our baby’s skin. After trying different products on our baby, we started to look at the ingredients. It was just like the stuff we were putting on our own bodies: there were weird words that you couldn’t understand and little you could!
We searched for some understanding, and found out just what we were putting on our babies bodies, not to mention our own. Toxins and irritants are used just because they work for the product (be it soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) to make it easier to manufacture or for foaming effects.
After dealing with the expense of natural products already on the market, we decided to create our own business. We would name it after our son, Emmet, and make quality products that worked and that people could afford at the same time. We had many ideas for our first products, and after three months we made our debut at Emmet’s first birthday party.
Emmet’s Essentials was our gift to him for his first birthday – a business that will grow, like Emmet, and be good for him and for people like you far into the future.
